The Burning



This is Prairie grass as the saints had to go through.
probably lots of little and not so little creatures in it!



They do a mock burning of the grass every year to show what the
saints had to deal with

nice!  it was a very cold windy day until they lit the fire

this was an acre of grass. it took about 4 min to burn it all and
it rained that morning. usually on a dry day would take only
2 min to burn it!!

for the missionaries in it.  we're on the 2nd level
